How to get a rough estimate of cost of  longarm quilting services:


Determine the overall square inches in your quilt or t shirt quilt measure the length and width of the quilt. Multiple the measurements. For example for a quilt that is 60" x 70" = 4200 square inches.

The, multiple the total square inches by $0.20. For example 4200 x 0.20 = $84.00 for the edge-to-edge quilting service.





Quilt Top:





For best results we recommend:


Quilt tops should lay flat and be square to avoid puckering when quilted. Excess fabric in borders can result in puckering.

Remove all excess threads

Pin your name and phone number to your quilt top and backing.  Also, mark the top of your quilt top if it is not easily noticeable or if you have a preference.


Quilt Back:





Quilt back and batting should be at least 8 inches wider than you quilt top. (4" all the way around). This extra fabric is used to pin the back to the quilt frame and provides the best results when quilting.





if you have a directional fabric for you backing fabric take that into consideration when piecing and pressing, please, mark the top of the backing fabric.





T-shirt Quilts & Memory Quilts:


T-Shirts should be UNCUT. We prepare each t-shirt with a stabilizer to keep it from stretching and then it can be sewn together with quilting cotton to create blocks. 





Each T-SHirt quilt is an original.
